InterActive Academy is proud to team up with “motion evolution” to bring you "IAm Fit!", fitness classes for kids. Check out our flyer.

Motion Foundations: Designed for children who need a gentle introduction to physical activity, and for those who want to enhance and improve their basic physical abilities. There are no physical prerequisites to get started. Motion Foundations starts off as a 10 week course with a 55 minute class each week. This affordable blend of cardio, core stabilization, motor skills, strength, flexibility and balance over a wide range of physical movement is not only physically sound, it's FUN for children! With no emphasis on comparisons or competition, children move on to the next Motion Evolution level at their own personal pace!

The cost is $120/session for 1 class a week. If you would like both Monday and Wednesday classes, the 2nd class can be added for $10 a week.

Classes are offered on Mondays and Wednesday.

Highlights of the Nutritional Component

  • Nutrition basics including the food pyramid, and building healthy and balanced meals
  • Reading food labels, looking at sugar, fat and fiber
  • How to make healthy food choices – daily snacks, breakfast, and liquids.
  • Fuelling a healthy body; teaching kids about sports nutrition.
  • Nutrition lessons are always taught in a “fun” active and interactive environment.
  • Fun and exciting take home activities with weekly rewards for completing.
  • Ongoing resources for Parents.

Highlights of the Fitness Component

  • Trained instructors that teach, motivate and assist the children
  • 55 Minute classes that give a full body workout in an assisted workout and circuit program.
  • Circuit training that targets specific muscle groups while simultaneously creating fun and excitement
  • Strength conditioning to increase bone density as well as tendon and ligament strength
  • Cardio exercise that increases muscular endurance and lung capacity
  • Resistance training, agility and balance activities to enhance nervous system function, self-esteem and self-confidence
  • Basics of strength and endurance training including how to organize a workout plan.

Summer Session (May 28-Aug 3)

Only Currently Enrolled Students May Register This Week For Summer Session!
There will be no Waitlists during Priority Registration.
Any registrations from Non-Current Students will be cancelled
and need to be resubmitted Tues, May 7th.
